Being in college has only made me appreciate my parents' cooking even more. We love fruits and vegetables, and my mom is awesome at maintaining a healthy diet on a reasonable budget. She's the smartest shopper I know! This post is going to include some photos of the produce my mom purchased on Saturday, but we did pick up a lot more than just that. At the bottom of this post, I'll list most of what we got along with some dishes I like to make. Everyone knows that they should eat healthy, but let's face it: eating healthy isn't always fun. You have to make it habit. Because my parents have taught me how to eat healthy, eating unhealthy foods honestly makes me sick, sluggish, tired, and bloated. I'm not saying I'm perfect, because I am not at all. I have my cheat days just like everyone else. In fact, college has really hurt my diet simply because of what's available to me on campus. I try my best, but being home is such a blessing.
