Here's a fun fact about me: black is my favorite color. I'm all about black clothes, but dark colors can tend to look "cold" and be reminiscent of fall and winter. The thing is, I like to wear black during every season! To help transition my grunge style from winter to spring, I've come up with a few tips & tricks:

With the help of my two beautiful friends, Bryli (the brunette) and Kaley (the blonde), I was able to photograph six outfits for fall. These outfits have an "eclectic street" theme. This post is part of a series, and you can find another lookbook with a preppy chic theme HERE. Enjoy!

If you haven't read my article on the VT FMDS fashion show, Into the Wild, you can check it out here. I had the pleasure of hanging out with the models of the show as they got ready, and let me tell you: they're all incredible. The girls were so sweet and bubbly. It made my job super easy!
This year's fashion show was called "Into the Wild" as most of you know. The theme was feminine and floral, but also edgy. This really translated into their hair and makeup. With the teased hair, messy braids and smokey eyes, it was easy to fall in love with each girl's look. The Into the Wild team had several makeup artists and hair stylists come in to achieve the vibe. Some were professionals, and some were students! Some of the student who modeled also designed for the show. I really enjoyed seeing designers walk in their own clothing. It was such a beautiful feeling (and I know it was for them, too). If you're interested in seeing the getting ready process, check out the photos below! |
